Mads Floor Andersen

My work explores intimate relation between body and environment and how they shape and affect each other. I primarily engage and throw myself into the local processes I work and live within. Thus each work is experimental and open-ended, creating an unfolding dialogue between myself and my surroundings. Hence each work is specific in its own right, while simultaneously drawing on social and ecological thoughts and theories.
I have presented my work internationally, such as at Belfast International Festival of Performance Art (BIFPA), Transart Communication, Kalkota International Performance Art Festival (KIPAF), LAPSody, Month of Performance Art Berlin (MPA-B), International Festival of Performance Arts Copenhagen and many others. In parallel to my own work I also founded and run Nomadic Arts Festival, among other events, as well as being an active core member of the artist-led collective Tracing the Pathway.
